We were established in 1946 to support and promote visual arts in the North West
Today we say that if you're interested in art - you'll find a warm welcome at the Art Circle.
We support charities, often offering a percentage from exhibition sales and giving our time: for example working with people to develop their interest in painting or offering paintings as auction / raffle prizes.
Operation and organisation of the circle has always been by a dedicated committee and that continues today.
We produce a monthly newsletter 'In Touch' for the benefit of members who don't have internet access.
We have links with other organisations in the world of art.
